Where NOVUS is active.
NOVUS is active in two spaces: with the public, and with the leaders and creators shaping and building our future. Across four domains, we pursue one aim: restore the soul to the decisions shaping contemporary life.
WHERE NOVUS IS ACTIVE
Scholarship.
We produce interdisciplinary research that can survive peer review and still be usable in the world. We work at the intersection of philosophy, neuroscience, technology, culture, and spiritual formation applied to the human person—body and soul—and on the forces reshaping attention, desire, judgment, and responsibility in technological life. We treat AI as an anthropological and spiritual stress test, and we publish work meant to inform both academic debate and real decisions.

Public Conversations
We take our work into public spaces where life is lived and choices are made: op-eds, talks, briefings, public forums, partnerships, and media. We provoke careful ways of thinking who we are, how we should live, and practices that restore depth and direction to life. Our claims are public on purpose: open to critique because they’re meant to be tested in ordinary life.
Video Series
Rigorous video series that pairs high-level teaching on the nature of the human person--body and soul--formation, faith, and culture, with concrete means of application and testing in daily living.

Annual Tech & Thought Leaders Summits
We cultivate spaces for leaders and creatives who are building and shaping our future. Retreats and cohorts for senior and emerging leaders shaping technology, the arts, faith, and culture. We work on the interior life of the soul beneath public power.
Participants engage philosophical reflection, spiritual discernment, and concrete strategy—leaving with renewed moral clarity, personal courage, and practical commitments that shape the institutions they lead.

NOVUS Lab.
NOVUS Lab is where principles are embedded in practice. We help developers, designers, and artists start imagining and building where most product work doesn’t: the human soul, embodied and relationally embedded. We translate that anthropology into development/UX design for humane defaults that protect presence, agency, and trust.
